Chairman's Message It is a great honour and privilege for me to serve as the Chairman of the Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PGMEA). I am deeply grateful to the Executive Committee, senior members and the entire membership for placing their trust and confidence in me by electing me to lead this prestigious Association. Since its establishment, PGMEA has remained the sole representative body of Pakistan's gloves industry, committed to safeguarding the interests of manufacturers and exporters while promoting sustainable growth and international competitiveness. I fully recognize the responsibility entrusted to me and am committed to serving the industry with dedication, integrity, and transparency. One of PGMEA's key achievements is the successful establishment of the Leather Products Development Institute (LPDI), which plays a vital role in developing a skilled workforce for Pakistan's leather and gloves industry. Through professional training, technical development and capacity-building initiatives, LPDI continues to strengthen the industry's human resource base and enhance its global competitiveness. The gloves sector is a significant contributor to Pakistan's economy through exports, employment generation, and industrial development. Despite numerous global and domestic challenges, our manufacturers and exporters have consistently demonstrated resilience, innovation, and commitment to excellence. PGMEA will continue to serve as a strong bridge between the industry and government, advocating for business-friendly policies, export facilitation, skill development and the resolution of issues affecting our members. In today's rapidly evolving global marketplace, it is essential to embrace innovation, technological advancement, product diversification, sustainability and value addition. Our focus will remain on strengthening the competitiveness of Pakistan's gloves industry, exploring new international markets and creating opportunities that enable our members to achieve sustainable growth. Together with my fellow Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members, and dedicated Sub-Committees, I am confident that we will continue to strengthen PGMEA as a dynamic and progressive institution. We remain committed to providing prompt support, addressing members' concerns and promoting policies that benefit the entire gloves sector. I firmly believe that our collective strength lies in unity, professionalism and collaboration. Senior Vice Chairman’s Message It is a great honor for me to serve as the Senior Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PGMEA). We recognize the opportunities and challenges facing the gloves sector in today’s competitive global market. Our priority is to enhance the competitiveness of Pakistani glove manufacturers by promoting innovation, quality standards, skill development, research & development, and sustainable manufacturing practices. We will continue to work closely with our members, government institutions, and international stakeholders to address industry concerns, expand export opportunities, and create a business-friendly environment that supports long-term growth. Vice Chairman’s Message It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PGMEA). I am grateful for the confidence and trust placed in me, and I look forward to working alongside our Chairman, Executive Committee and dedicated members to further strengthen Pakistan’s gloves industry. Our Association has a proud legacy of representing and promoting the interests of glove manufacturers and exporters. As we move forward, we remain committed to preserving this legacy while embracing innovation, sustainability and excellence to meet the evolving demands of the global marketplace. The gloves industry is facing both significant challenges and exciting opportunities. Rising production costs, changing international trade dynamics, compliance requirements, and increasing global competition require a united and proactive approach. At the same time, these challenges present opportunities to enhance product quality, expand into new markets, adopt advanced manufacturing technologies, and increase the global recognition of "Made in Pakistan" gloves. As Vice Chairman, my priority is to work closely with our members, government institutions, and international stakeholders to advocate for policies that support exports, improve competitiveness, encourage research and development, strengthen workforce skills, and create a sustainable environment for industry growth. Your ideas, suggestions, and active participation are the foundation of our Association's success. Together, through collaboration, transparency, and mutual trust, we can build a stronger, more resilient, and globally competitive gloves sector that contributes significantly to Pakistan’s economy and export growth.
